Effect of Different Packaging Materials and Chemicals on Shelf Life and Quality of Aonla (Emblica officinalis L.)

چکیده

To extend the shelf life of Aonla fruits and to regulate marketing for acceptability profit during distant transportation storage, can be coated with chemicals coating materials which are safe consumption packed in packaging materials. So, find out effect different on quality (Emblica officinalis L.); a lab experiment was conducted at Post Harvest Laboratory, Department Horticulture, Naini Agricultural Institute, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P.) year 2022-2023. The comprised 13 treatments materials, viz. untreated fruits, 5% Chitosan Wax, 1% Calcium Nitrate, 400 ppm Cycocel 0.1% Sodium Benzoate Nylon Net Bags, Poly Ethylene CFB Box replicated three times completely randomized design. objectives were evaluate aonla. From present investigation treatment T8 (5% Wax + Bags) found best minimum Physiological weight loss %, rotting terms Bio-chemical attributes i.e., Total Soluble Solids (TSS 0Brix), Titrable Acidity (%), Ascorbic Acid (mg/100g) Organoleptic Qualities maximum retention Fruit colour fruit shriveling till end storage period.
